The bell tower of the Peter and Paul Cathedral is a tall building in the historical part of St. Petersburg. The height is 122.5 meters. The tower was built in 1712. The multi-tiered bell tower has two belfries, a carillon, and an installed clock on the upper floor. The cross is mounted on the steeple, on which the guardian angel of St. Petersburg flaunts. The facade of the tower is richly decorated with pilasters, platbands, tiled mouldings, and Ionic columns.
