Court Singing Chapel
Detailed description
Previously, there was a small wooden two-story house on the site of this building, owned by Christian Paulsen, a doctor. In 1773, it passed to another owner, and in 1777 a three-story house with two stone wings was erected here. A famous Russian architect worked on the condition of the building, which has survived to our time, and he made significant adjustments to the original structure. He adhered to such an architectural style as eclecticism. This is a whole complex that includes several buildings in the same style. The territory is fenced with a beautiful iron fence. The main entrance is located at the back, Most of the windows are framed by arched pilasters. There are a large number of patterns in the form of stucco. The facade of the building is decorated with horizontal stripes, with wide cornices between the floors. The story panels are complemented by cartouches, masks and garlands. The building looks truly rich and elegant, perfect for a building filled with art from all sides.
