The mansion of V.A. Sleptsov
Detailed description
The mansion of V.A. Sleptsov was built in the first third of the 19th century in the eclectic style. In 1902, the building was acquired by Guards officer V. A. Sleptsov. At his request, the architect replaced the windows on the ground floor with wide storefronts. A new Art Nouveau facade decoration was created, relief patterns and floral ornaments covering the carved door leaves were added. In this form, the mansion has been preserved to this day. The complex interior decoration with stucco ceiling lights and tiled stoves has been preserved. During the Soviet years, the mansion was nationalized and converted into communal housing.
