Singing Bridge
Detailed description
In 1834, Auguste Montferrand developed a project for the construction of a bridge, which was built in this place. Due to the bright yellow coloring of the ferry structures, it was named the "Yellow Bridge". This project was completed by the great architect after the construction of the Alexander Column on the Palace Square. In order to hold a large-scale military parade, it was decided to build a wooden bridge as soon as possible.
