The Museum of Court Carriages, also known as the Stable Museum, is a museum in St. Petersburg specializing in the art of Russian carriage making. From 1860 until September 1917, the museum was located on the ground floor of a purpose-built building on Konyushennaya Square in St. Petersburg. Initially, the museum was located in the main carriage house in the Stable Garden. In September 1917, the museum was looted and subsequently turned into a branch of the State Hermitage Museum, which was abolished in 1926.
