Pachkunov House
Detailed description
This house is a monument of urban planning and architecture, located in the center of Nizhny Novgorod. It was built in 1846 and 1852 in the style of Russian classicism by architect A.A. Pakhomov. After some time, it was rebuilt in an eclectic style.
The Pachkunov house is a brick two-story building with an attic and a basement of a complex U-shape with a truncated southern corner. The facades are separated by decorative belts. The cornice belt under the roof is complemented with crackers. The main western facade is rusticated. The house has rectangular windows and a facade, which is complemented by decorative elements.
