The building of the Twelve Colleges
Detailed description
The building was built in 1722-1742. Architect Domenico Trezzini worked on the project of the building. The building is the largest monument of the Peter the Great Baroque and has twelve identical sections of three floors. In the 18th century, the highest state authorities were located here. Since 1835, the building has been the main building of St. Petersburg State University.
