Museum of the East

The museum was opened in 1918 and is located in a house that is a landmark in itself. The house is the former Lunin estate. The estate was built in the 19th century, the architectural style of the estate is the Moscow Empire. Architect Domenico Gilardi worked on the project of the building. The main building of the estate has three floors, and its facades are decorated with porticos, risalites and stucco.
