The five-storey house on the corner of Leontievskaya Street, near Nikitsky Gate Square, has experienced several dramas of Russian history. The house of the P.A. Pozdnyakova-Yusupova family, known as the "Pozdnyakov house". The house was originally a two-storey building, which was built in the 18th century by an unknown architect.
