Honey Waterfalls
Detailed description
A group of five waterfalls. They are located on the Alikonovka and Oka-Bash rivers. Nearby there is a tourist base with a sauna, a folklore museum and a zoo. They were formed as a result of the collapse of rocky rocks in the gorge of the Alikonovka River. The area around the waterfall was moist and suitable for the growth of honey plants, hence the name. Another legend is that wild bees lived in the gorge of rocks. Insects gathered in valleys filled with fragrant flowers, collecting nectar, which was then carried away into the gorge. However, when the flood happened, the river took away part of the beehives, and the water became sweet as honey. Today there are no wild bees in the gorges, and the hives have long been destroyed by ice. Six-meter pearl waterfall, picturesque and powerful. The tallest "Big Honey Waterfall" has a height of 18 meters.
