Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker
Detailed description
The church was built in 1897-1899. The building is a brick church, which belonged to the compound for bishops coming to the city instead of the current building built in 1828. The temple has three floors and is richly decorated in the pseudo-Russian style. It had one cupola, which was installed above the altar apse with five sides. In 1919, the church was closed, and the building itself is now occupied by a library.
