Lyadov Apartment House
Detailed description
Mozhaiskaya Street began to be built up in the second half of the 18th century. Initially, only soldiers' barracks and junior officers' houses were allowed to be built on the street, but since they did not occupy all the allocated land, the street gradually began to be built up with other houses. In 1914, architect K.V. Lyadov built an apartment building in the Art Nouveau style. Since 1935, a school has been located in the building. Since 1990, the Pedagogical College No. 5 has been located in the house. There is also a National Museum "Children and preschool workers of besieged Leningrad".
