The museum-apartment of Academician I. P. Pavlov
Detailed description
The house was built in the architectural style of Russian classicism in 1806. It is a three-storey brick building. The main facade is decorated with a portico of four fluted Doric columns.
Stucco cornices and a tiled stove with reliefs have also been preserved. The building has been part of the Academy of Sciences since the time of Peter I. Academician Pavlov lived in one of the apartments in this building for 18 years. A house museum dedicated to the centenary of the academician's birth was opened here.
