Old Jaeger barracks

The building was built in the period from 1796 to 1800 in the city of St. Petersburg. The building was intended for the guards of the Jaeger Battalion, which was created by Paul I. The battalion barracks were located inside the building. Later, the battalion was transformed into a regiment and the barracks changed its name to Staroegerskie. The barracks were owned by the regiment until 1917.
