Detailed description
The Zoological Museum is one of the largest zoology museums in the world. It was created in 1932, and was previously part of the Kunstkamera. The museum has more than 30,000 exhibits, including cetaceans, pinnipeds, insects, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, mammals and animals of Peter I. The exhibits of the museum are constantly replenished thanks to the expeditions of the staff of the Zoological Institute.
