Palace Bridge
Detailed description
The Palace Bridge connects the Exchange Square and the Palace Passage. The bridge was built in 1912-1916 by architect A. P. Pshenitsky. The architectural design was made by architect R. F. Meltzer. The bridge was opened on December 23, 1916, and the fence grilles of the sculptor I. V. Krestovsky were installed only in 1939. The drawbridge consists of two 700-ton spans.
