The mosaic underpass is a striking landmark of Rostov. Mosaics in the passages were created in the 1970s and 1980s. Master Yuri Palshintsev worked on their creation. The mosaics depict plots that are associated with the characters of Sholokhov's books. The scenes are related to the historical past of the country.
