Summer house of A.G. Orlov in the Neskuchny garden
Detailed description
The summer house with four Corinthian columns was built in 1804-1806. The two-story house was built of wood and designed in the spirit of classical architecture: simple symmetrical plans, six columns of the Corinthian order from each large facade; a one-story gazebo with shutters and bars on each small one. The house was used in various ways in the post-revolutionary period, and the house of creativity of the USSR Writers' Union was located in it for the longest time. There was a library-reading room in Gorky Park before the global transformation began. There is currently a photo studio there.
