House of Artists of the Bolshoi Theater
Detailed description
In 1932, the building was designed by architect Polyakov. According to other sources, the building was built by architect D. Friedman. Previously, a church stood on the site of the building. The construction took place during the period of transition from constructivism to Empire style. The house is nine storeys high, richly decorated, but without pretentiousness. The construction was completed in 1935.
