Detailed description
In August 1941, having gone to the front, Levchenko fought on the front line from the banks of the Volga to Prague, where he won many military victories. After the war, he was directly involved in the construction of hundreds of military camps, manufacturing plants, and launch pads for the strategic missile forces and air defense. In the Urals, General Levchenko served as Deputy Commander of the Ural Military District for Construction and housing. After his retirement, he devoted his life, combat experience and knowledge to community service and patriotic education of young people. A memorial plaque was unveiled in honor of Alexei Vasilyevich Levchenko, so that the new generation would not forget who gave birth to their parents, what kind of parents they are, whose blood flows in
their veins – the blood of the Victors.
