Detailed description
The town of the Chekists is officially called the NKVD Housing Plant. The construction of the town took place from 1929 to 1936. It is a 14-building complex of buildings. The Iset Hotel is located in the first highest complex. There were apartment buildings in buildings 2-8, 13 and 14. There was a F. Dzerzhinsky Palace of Culture in the 10th building. The 12th building was an Administrative building. Few buildings were connected by underground passages. The town is classified as a national heritage site.
