House of Magazine and Newspaper Association
Detailed description
The architectural structure was built in 1933-1935, designed by famous architects: Mikhail Osipovich Barsch and Georgy Alexandrovich Zunblat. The building is an example of an architectural style transition: the shape of the building is typical of the avant-garde of the Soviet era, which was typical in the 1920s, but the facade decor, which includes horizontal rods and a cornice with paintings, is more consistent with the neoclassical style of the 1930s. The house is currently residential. The building belongs to the cultural heritage sites of the Russian Federation.
