Detailed description
The Nikitsky Building is located near the Faceted Chamber on the territory of the Novgorod Kremlin. The building was built in the 15th and 19th centuries. Scientists suggest that the building got its name because of the cells of Bishop Nikita located at this place in the late 11th - early 12th century. It is a two-story brick yellow building with arched windows. The facade of the building is decorated with stucco. In the period of our time, the Faceted Chamber is located in the building.
