Church of Vladimir the Equal - to - the - Apostles

The consecration of a new church, which is located on the north side of St. Sophia Cathedral in the Novgorod Kremlin, is scheduled for July 26, 2016. This temple is dedicated to the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. The decision to erect the temple was made last year in honor of the millennium since the repose of Equal-to-the-Apostles Vladimir and in order to restore the memory of the temple destroyed in the XVII century, located near the Vladimir Tower.
