The office building was built at the end of the XVIII century and is currently one of the buildings included in the complex of the Novgorod Kremlin. The architect in the construction of the building was V.S.Polivanov, then, after the fire, the building was restored according to the project of architect I.Roginsky. The building was damaged during the war and opened its doors as a museum in 1990. Now the museum is located in the building.

Здание присутственных мест было построено в конце XVIII века и в настоящее время является одним из зданий входящих в комплекс Новгородского Кремля. Архитектором в построении здания выступил В.С.Поливанов, далее, после пожара здание восстанавливалась по проекту архитектора И.Рогинского. Во время войны здание пострадало и открыло свои двери , как музей в 1990 году. Сейчас в здании так и расположен музей.
