The Church of Andrew Stratilat
Detailed description
The stone church was built in the middle of the 15th century on the site of the staircase tower of the Borisoglebsky Cathedral, a large four-pillar temple with a narthex, built in 1167-1173, rebuilt in 1302-1305 and collapsed in 1682. The cathedral, which was built on the site of the destroyed temple, has been reconstructed. The building was built as a rectangular structure with a gable roof with a dome and a belfry above the western wall. The church was closed after the revolution.
