Palace Tower
Detailed description
The palace tower was built between 1484 and 1499. It has been rebuilt and updated more than once. In the 16th century, one of the six tiers was removed. The name of the tower has also changed several times: "at the granary yard", "at the grain yard", "opposite the store yard". It received this name in the XX century. The tower is a stone quadrangular blind square of 10.2 × 11.2 meters, height - 20 meters. Now the structure has 5 tiers, 37 loopholes and trench openings. The building has two entrance openings: the main door and the gateway. There are some decorative elements on the facade: a brick strip of runner and a half-roller.
