The weaving building of the Alekseev gold - weaving factory
Detailed description
The building is a brick building that belonged to the Stroganov estate. In 1828, the estate passed into the possession of the Alekseev merchants and was converted into a cloth factory. The building has a length of up to 120 meters. In addition to the factory, the building also housed a kitchen and other auxiliary facilities. In 1870, production declined and as a result was converted into a warehouse building under the ownership of the Moscow warehouse Customs. After the war, the building was reconstructed into a new educational complex, consisting of four buildings for production purposes, and until 2014 housed a printing house for printing magazines and other printed products.
