City estate of A.K. Razumovsky
Detailed description
The manor was built in 1802 for Count Alexei Kirillovich Razumovsky. The main house is U-shaped. The first floor is completely brick, while the second floor was built using both brick and oak beams. The courtyard is 110 meters wide. On the front side of the house there is a semi-rotunda with a balcony. The estate is located on the banks of the Yauza River. There is a park around the house, covering an area of 40 hectares. Since the second quarter of the 19th century, various social institutions have been located in the estate. Since 1918, a physical education institute has been opened here. Nowadays, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation is located in the Razumovsky estate. The nearest metro station is Kurskaya. The Museum of Russian Art and the Sergei Andriyaki Watercolor School Museum are located nearby.
