Tainitskaya Tower
Detailed description
The Tainitskaya Tower is part of the architectural complex of the Moscow Kremlin wall and is the central tower. It is a tetrahedron in the lower part, elongated along the axis, which ends with a parapet with machicolations and flaps. The upper part of the tower consists of a tetrahedron, a truncated tent and a watchtower with a tent topped with a gilded weather vane. The chetverik is decorated with columns supporting the cornice, intercepted by belts. The tower had a passage arch and an off-ramp. After the demolition of the strelnitsa, the arch was laid.
