Relics of the Holy Patriarch Tikhon

The relics of the holy Patriarch Tikhon are located in the Donskoy Monastery. They were found on February 22, 1992, during the renovation of the Maly Donskoy Cathedral. The search began on November 18, 1991, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy. On this significant day, November 18 (November 5 in the old way), but in 1917, the lot of the Patriarchate in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior fell on St. Tikhon, the first saint of the Soviet era.
