The church was built in 2001 in a two-story brick building built in the 1810s as an apartment building, and now it has been transferred to the diocesan spiritual center. It is externally marked with a cross. It was consecrated on September 18, 2001 in the name of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow.
