The house of Prince A.Ya. Lobanov-Rostovsky
Detailed description
The building was built in the first half of the XVIII century. The author of the project was architect Auguste Montferrand. The first owner of the house was Prince Alexander Yakovlevich Lobanov-Rostotsky. The building is a striking example of the classical style. The central facade is decorated with a portico of eight columns. The entrance is guarded by two white marble lion statues.
