Apartment house M.F. Kofus
Detailed description
It is known from sources that the building previously had two floors, and there was a tavern there. Later, the building was bought by Mrs. M. F. Kofus for a large apartment building. The architect of the new building was L. F. Eberg, the construction was completed in 1912. Once upon a time, this apartment building was considered one of the most developed and luxurious, as it was equipped with all modern communal amenities. The building is designed based on the symmetrical composition of the main facade, which is defined by three bay windows and a triangular pediment with a luxury. Passers-by can see various brick decorations on the walls: rushes, flies, cornice teeth. The building itself is brick and has a multi-pitched roof.
