Chaliapinsky Oak

Chaliapinsky Oak is located near the Olympus Theater. Opera singer Fyodor Ivanovich Chaliapin planted an oak tree near this theater in 1909, but the tree was destroyed during the reconstruction of the building. Local residents collected acorns to preserve the memory of Chaliapin. The seedling of the descendant was planted in 2014 at the Philharmonic Hall.
