The apartment house of Alexey and Spyridon Sapko and Spyridon Manesi
Detailed description
This building was built in the 1910s and 1920s in the Art Nouveau style. A two-storey brick building of rectangular shape, with two floors, with a gable roof. The composition of the architectural design of the facade clearly shows the functional purpose of the floors of the house: the first residential floor is a combination of a large number of square window openings and narrow doors (the central one is laid); the second residential floor is a single window system, the balconies are complemented by wall panels. The windows and doors on the farthest facade have high shoulder blades with independent cornices. The architectural and artistic appearance of the building is formed by a stylized brick decoration: architraves and decorative locks in the upper part of the openings, under the inter-floor belt, above the frieze of the facade and at the corners of the second floor, window sills and niches of the second floor, profiled cornice.
