Detailed description

A small pavilion was built on the east side of Yelagin Island. It is a small rectangular building with an open rotunda of 10 Doric columns inscribed in it. The walls are decorated with bas-relief panels. Cast-iron altar vases were installed at the entrance. The pavilion was also called "Milovida," but its official name was the Flag Pavilion, because the imperial flag was hoisted over the flat dome when members of the royal family came to the island.
