Detailed description
Peter the Great's house was built in 1703. The building was named "The Original Palace" and "The Red Mansions". The architect R.I. Kuzmin was engaged in the construction of the brick case. In 1899, vestibules were added to the building to store Peter I's boat. At the end of the nineteenth century, the building was surrounded by openwork metal grilles. A garden was laid out on the site and a sculptural bust of the emperor was installed. The building is a wooden structure with a four-pitched roof. The windows in the museum were made with fine glazing of the bindings. Since 1930, the House has become a museum.
