Museum-estate of the Muravyov-Apostles
Detailed description
The manor house was built in the 19th century. The owner of the mansion was the military P. Yakovlev. In 1815, the house passed into the possession of Ivan Muravyov, the Apostle, who was the father of the Decembrist Sergei Ivanovich. The mansion is built in a classical style. The main facade is decorated with a portico with six columns, which is crowned by a pediment in the form of a triangle. A semicircular rotunda is attached to one of the ends of the building. After the revolution, the building was nationalized. In 1986, the renovated mansion housed the Museum of the Decembrists.
