The Palace of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich and Princess MV Vorontsova

The facade of the palace is framed only by rusticated shoulder blades and pierced by tall windows. The building is completed by a high mezzanine with balustrades. The palace was donated by Tsar Nicholas II for the wedding of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna and Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich on July 25, 1894. The palace is located on the banks of the Moika River, directly opposite the island of New Holland. In 1919, the Lesgaft University appeared in the building.
