There is a zero kilometer sign at the entrance to the Voskresensk Gate. It has the shape of a square, which depicts the signs of the zodiac and the cardinal directions. Not only in Russia, but also in other countries, there is a "zero kilometer". Most often it falls on the main post office of the city, and there are exceptions. On the territory of many cities, the "zero kilometer" is marked with a sign, a sign on the ground or a statue, and even a historical landmark. In Moscow, in the 96th year of the twentieth century, the zero kilometer appeared. When creating it, the sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov used well-known symbols.
