The House of servants of the State Bank
Detailed description
This residential building is from the 19th century. Nowadays, it is combined by an insertion transition with the complex of a branch of a State Bank (this is just visible in the image). And then there is a photo of the bank itself, the construction of which began on May 5, 1911, and Vladimir Aleksandrovich Pokrovsky, who won the design competition, became the architect. The building was built in less than two years as a result of the work of mechanics, engineers, blacksmiths and ceramicists, icon painters and wood and stone carvers. The building resembles both the castle of the knights of the Middle Age and the Russian boyars' boards, it is decorated with the coats of arms of the Russian Empire, Nizhny Novgorod and the Soviet Union, and if possible, look into the high–placed windows, you can be surprised by the fragments of painting and gilding - from the inside this fabulous tower is even more luxurious and chic than outwardly.
