Summer Palace of the Princes of Beloselsky-Belozersky
Detailed description
Peter the Great presented Krestovsky Island to his sister Natalia Alekseevna, who built a small summer house on it, which later became the location of the Petrovsky Yacht Club.
In 1731, Anna Ioannovna transferred the island to Count Minich. In 1743, Elizabeth Petrovna presented the island to Count Alexei Razumovsky, who handed it over to his brother, the noble Hetman Kirill Razumovsky of Little Russia. In 1760, Kirill Razumovsky moved his wooden house here from the capital, and later built a stone house on this site. In 1803, Razumovsky's son sold the entire island to Prince A.M. Beloselsky. In 1884, the Beloselskys sold their house to Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich, and the family settled permanently on Krestovsky Island.
The building was destroyed during World War II and dismantled in the 1960s. The building has now been rebuilt.
