Shuvalova 's Mansion

The Shuvalova mansion in St. Petersburg was built in the period 1883-1888. Three architects had a hand in its construction. The former mansion is located on the Oblique Line in house No3. Previously, the line had the appearance of a road among meadows and gardens. Then it quickly began to fill up with more and more new buildings. People lived in Shuvalova's mansion and neighboring houses. Later, the buildings were occupied by the Baltic Plant. The Shanghai Hotel is now located there.
