Residential building of employees of the Ministry of State Security of the USSR

The former apartment building of employees of the USSR Ministry of State Security was built in 1946-1949 according to the project of E. Rybitsky.. In the Stalinist Empire style, the facade was the most detailed, in terms of volume and quality of architectural decorative elements, not inferior to the masterpieces of the Stalinist style. Its texture resembles the shape of a granite base made of red stone with relief elements in the center. The composition is crowned by a gallery with three risalites and windows of different shapes. The building has balconies, behind the columns of which small loggias are hidden. On the outside of the facade there is a decoration in the form of multiple stone arches with a height of nine floors.
