The main house of the Prokhorov-Khludov estate

The main house of the Prokhorov-Khludov estate is located near St. Elijah's Church. The building was built at the end of the XVIII century by order of Alexei Potepalov. After 1876, the land and the house passed to Khludova Praskovya Gerasimovna. The facade of the house was richly decorated with rustication. The narrow but high windows were decorated with platbands with a stone lock. The roof was completed with a figured pediment. A balustrade with square brick pillars was built around the perimeter of the roof. The symmetrical shapes of the building and its clear proportions are perfectly combined with the stucco at the second floor level, the risalite and pilasters.
