Ruins of the old Chulkovsky Bridge
Detailed description
The old Chulkovsky Bridge was built in 1930-31 and opened to traffic on the 14th anniversary of October on November 7, 1931. However, due to the hectic design and construction process inherent in socialist construction, it began to collapse after 40 years. The old bridge was demolished, and only the concrete pillars standing next to the new bridge tell about its existence.
