Detailed description

The gazebo, opened in 1805. It was designed by architect Kazakov. The first monument to Peter the Great in Moscow was erected inside the gazebo. After the hurricane of 1904, the gazebo turned into ruins, but it was immediately restored. Peter the Great's phrase was engraved on the pedestal: "The labors of my Patriarch have made me healthy. I hope someday to travel with him by water from St. Petersburg to Moscow and go ashore in the Golovinsky Garden."
