Detailed description
The Poterna is a secret passage in the walls of the fortress of Peter Paul. The Gosudarevsky Redoubt is one of the two eastern redoubts of the Peter and Paul Fortress, about 150 meters long. The Tsar's Redoubt is one of the two eastern redoubts of the Peter and Paul Fortress, facing the Neva River. It was built on May 16, 1703, the construction was carried out under the supervision of Emperor Peter I and named in his honor the Sovereign.
