The mansion of Ya.A. Potemkin
Detailed description
Ya.A. Potemkin became the owner of the house only at the beginning of the 19th century. Until that time, the mansion had gone through many owners. The house was presented with seven windows on the main facade, a front porch and a balcony on columns. After a while, the 3rd floor was added and the house began to look more opulent with a luxurious suite of 22 rooms on the second floor and a magnificent lobby. By the time of Potemkin's ownership, the house had hardly changed, only the door under the balcony disappeared, and the entrance to the house moved to its left side.
